Most people will agree that cleaning the ears with cotton buds, although a common practice can cause damage to the ear canal. Cotton buds also push the wax further into the ear canal causing further problems. 

Quick, simple and easy-to-use AUDICLEAN^® can be used in the bath or shower as part of your daily hygiene routine. It works in three ways - cleans the ears, washes away wax and impurities and finally, helps prevent the build up of wax.

AUDICLEAN^® is made from 100% Sea water, an isotonic solution of sea water with no preservatives and enriched with bicarbonates. The filtration process removes most of the sodium chloride from the water, but leaves all the beneficial minerals and trace elements such as magnesium and potassium. It has a pH balance of 8 that is adapted to the physiology of the external auditory canal. 


For ongoing ear hygiene, AUDICLEAN^® should be used two to three times a week, more if necessary especially for people wearing hearing aids or audio phones, or for people producing excessive wax. It can also be used prior to appointments with GPs, paediatricians and ENT specialists to facilitate the removal of a wax plug. 

PRECAUTIONS

• Ensure Audiclean is used at room temperature: 20-25 degrees C.

• In case of pain or persisting ear discomfort, DISCONTINUE product use and consult your healthcare professional. This may indicate the presence of an existing hard and or obstructive ear wax blockage or inflammation.

• Do not insert any objects (for example cotton buds) before or after using Audiclean.

• Do not dry the ear canal too vigorously after use as this could trigger irritation or inflammation.

WARNINGS

• AUDICLEAN should not be used if you have ear pain, or an ear infection, swimmers ear, an ear drum perforation, pressure equalizing tubes (PETs /Grommets ), balance disorders, insulin deficient diabetes, immunosuppression, had ear surgery or if you have a foreign item in the ear or a hard and/or obstructive ear wax blockage, (Indicated by difficulty hearing, pain, ringing noise, feeling of blockage, temporary deafness after showering or swimming).

• Do not use on children under two years of age.
